Mentoring.  As a new homeschooler or new to the area, you may request a mentor who will help you become acquainted with homeschooling in the San Antonio area.

Volunteer.  We encourage all members to volunteer in some capacity for the organization.  We understand the time constraints of homeschoolers and realize not everyone can commit to serving on a committee.  However, all committees will need extra help from time to time and you may be able to help out on a "as needed basis."  You can also help the group by watching the kids of other members thereby allowing them to fulfill their commitments.  You are not required to select any of the following; volunteering is not a requirement for membership.
