Are there any activities or workshops that you would be interested in presenting?

We will provide one eight (8 ft) foot table and two chairs. You will need to provide covering for the tables. There is no charge for attending. Depending on the availability of tables, you may have to share a table with another group. You will still be allowed to send two free persons. There is no electricity available with free tables. If you need electricity you will need to purchase a regular exhibitor table and electricity. Applications received after the May 1st deadline will be handled on a space available basis. If you fail to attend the conference without providing at least one weeks notice (emergencies excepted) we will require a deposit for any future HERO activities. HERO reserves the right to refuse any organization’s application.

Statement of Belief Agreement

San Antonio Home Education Resources and Opportunities (HERO) recognizes that homeschoolers encompass a broad spectrum of beliefs and philosophies. We also respect the right of home educators to determine their association with specific groups and values. HERO does not require homeschool groups and related organizations to be open to all homeschoolers in order to include their information and services in our events and listings. We do require that all participating groups recognize and respect other groups’ rights to serve homeschoolers as well. We do not ask you to agree with other groups but to show your respect for their right to be present by behaving in a polite and civil manner. We do not allow proselytizing or philosophical debates during our events and activities. Please feel free to expound how your organization or services would aid families with specific beliefs, concerns, or values.

Should a complaint be made, HERO will investigate its nature and if it is valid will give the offending individual or organization a warning. In order to maintain an environment hospitable to all homeschoolers, after one warning we reserve the right to require individuals or organizations to leave the premises without any refund should they create a hostile environment. Your submission of this form indicates that you have read the agreement and will abide by its policies.

I have read and agree to the above statement.
