We are looking for some volunteer help on the day of the conference to make sure everything runs smoothly. Anyone who volunteers two hours will receive free admission to the conference. Depending on our needs and your availability, you may be able to split your volunteer time into one hour blocks. We are looking for volunteers for the following positions. If you are interested in volunteering, please send us an email at info@sahero.org. Concession Stand: We will need people to organize and run the concession stand. We need one person to be in charge of the concession stand who will establish the menu, purchase supplies, and recruit and supervise other concession volunteers. This person must be over 18. We will also need people prepare and serve food in two hour shifts. Teenagers may volunteer for these positions. Raffle Person: We need people to sell raffle tickets and disperse the prizes at the end of the day. T-Shirt Sales: We need people to sell conference t-shirts at the registration table. Conference Closing Helpers: We will need people to help exhibitors pack up their materials and load them at the loading dock. We will also need general help in closing and cleaning up after the conference. Setup Helpers: We will need people to help organize and run the vendor setup. We will need people to control access to the unloading dock and watch vendor material while they park. We will also need people to direct vendors to their assigned area and help setup as needed. Registration Table Helpers: We will need people to help at the registration table. You will be registering people, figuring out admission prices, handling money, and answering questions. Workshop Room Helpers: You will need to check for wristbands if appropriate, provide any assistance needed by the speaker, and keep the door closed during the presentation. First Aid: We need people who are willing to provide emergency first aid as needed. You will need appropriate credentials and be "on call" while at the conference. Runners: We need people willing to carry messages between the different volunteer stations.
